Are women really too afraid to cycle? 22 Jun 2006
Darlington is one of three places in Britain chosen as a pilot scheme to encourage people to use alternative forms of transport... and it seems that women are more reluctant than men to get out of their cars and hop onto a bike. A survey found that only 15 per cent of cycle trips were made by women. So why are women reluctant to climb into the saddle?

Jenni is joined by Owen Wilson, Project director, Darlington Local Motion Campaign and by Yvonne McGregor, former World Champion Cyclist and Olympic bronze medal winner in Sydney 2000.
