Winning Women's Votes: Women at Westminster 05ÌýFeb 2010
Westminster Palace in the Snow
What difference do they make to our lives and is enough being done to elect them?

After almost 100 years since the first women took up her seat in the House of Commons, women still make up less than 20% of MPs at Westminster. On the face of it, the case for more women MPs seems to have been won - all the main parties agree we need more women in parliament – and most have adopted tactics to increase their number. But as no one really thinks this election will see a significant leap in the number of women MPsÌýwhat can and should be done about it? Jenni is joined by former MP's Edwina Currie, Oona King and Sue Doughty to discuss the issues.
