The news that naturalist, Steve Irwin had been killed in September 2006, was met with shock and an outpouring of grief – especially in his native Australia. Most well-known for his work with crocodiles, he had been killed by a stingray whilst filming wildlife documentary. He was 44 years old and left a wife, Terri and two young children. Having written a book about their life together,ÌýTerriÌýjoins Jane to talk about their joint love of wildlife.
