Military Action in Israel - Opinion Poll
A Today poll has revealed overwhelming support within Israel for the military strikes. Of 500 people questioned over the telephone by an Israeli polling company last week, 86% backed Israel's attacks on Palestinian targets; most described their support as "strong".

The interviewees were drawn from throughout Israel; the poll's margin of error is put at four-and-a-half per cent. The poll was conducted by phone by the organisation (PORI) and 505 people were questioned.
