Almost thirty years after the UK went into Europe, the results show almost a third would like us out - though fifty three percent are happy for Britain to remain members of the EU. On the single currency though, seventy one percent of those asked were against replacing the pound with the Euro - and the overwhelming majority said they'd also reject the Euro even if it was to rise in value against sterling. The survey also shows we think of ourselves as British first - only three percent describe themselves as solely European.
