Roger is a writer and conservationist and is best known for his book Waterlog in which he swims in the lakes, moats, ponds, rivers and seas around the UK.

The Economics of Re-cycling
A listener who lives near Bath is delighted with the recycling facilities provided by his local council. However, he believes that the economics of the operation are not sustainable and is worried that the scheme will eventually fold.
