Razia Iqbal speaks with Dame Felicity Lott about her music and her upcoming Prom performance. She sings a piece for us from "La Voix Humane".
Radio 3 will be broadcasting Felicity Lott's Live Prom Performance on Sunday 10.08.2003 at the Royal Albert Hall, London, where she sings Poulenc: La Voix Humaine, the performance conducted by Andrew Davis. CD Recording to be issued on the Harmonia Mundi label.

The BFI has released a new print of this french classic comedy directed & starring Jacques Tati, the frenchman's Chaplin or Keaton. Ginette Vincendeau, Professor of Film Studies at Warwick University, joins Razia in discussing the film.
The re-release of Monsieur Hulot's Holiday, France 1952, is showing at selected times, National Film Theatre, 8-21 August 2003

Why is it that Films change their titles when they go across the Atlantic? Red, White & Blonde in the US is just Legally Blonde 2 in the UK. When the third series of American Pie was released here, its title was American Pie 3: the Wedding, the same film in the US was American Wedding - and the examples go on. Mark Kermode reflects on why these changes are made.
