John Wilson speaks to multi award-winning playwright Gregory Burke who follows up on his smash hit Gagarin Way - with The Straits ,by drawing from his own experience growing up in Gibraltar during the Falkland War.
"The Straits" opens at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh on Sunday and will then go on tour this year to Bury St Edmonds, the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds, Plymouth, then to Hampstead Theatre 29 Oct -29 Nov 2003.

ALL THE REAL GIRLS
This dramatic romance is written, scripted & directed by David Gordon Green, set in a backwoods town in North Carolina, with a poignant performance from Zooey Deschanel alongside Paul Schneider. Chris Tookey from the Daily Mail reviews.

CROONERS
John Wilson takes a look at our modern day crooners with Radio Two's jazzman Alyn Shipton. First off is Jamie Cullen, our "Sinatra in Sneakers" who last night won a Rising Star award at the 成人快手 Jazz Awards. Two young Canadian singers Michael Buble and Matt Dusk are also crooning away with their own brand of smooth smoky jazz.
Michael Buble's album of the same name is out now on WEA and Matt Dusk's Album "Two Shots" is released on Decca/Universal next month.
