For the best part of 45 years, I'd never played an instrument or sang in front of people. When my wife took up Morris dancing, me being the one who can drive, became a 'camp follower'. Before long, I started to join in the music. Then my wife bought me a guitar. Now I write my own material and perform the 3rd Friday of every month at the Hare and Hounds, Maidstone. (John Barden)
