We don鈥檛 really play songs in the usual sense of the word, we play beats. But at the end of each class everyone gets together to jam. I love the jam because you get to play beats which you鈥檝e not been taught. It's like a chance to catch up with everyone and in the process, you get to pick up beats from other people. It鈥檚 led by the teachers and the routine is usually the same. We start off with the basics, the kind of things that we learn at first and then it gets more difficult as we go along. So, for me, the beats that they play at the end are more difficult because I鈥檓 not at that stage yet.
