A favourite song:
'Dogs in the Street' is a song that I wrote whilst pondering on the phrases that some people use when talking about political and paramilitary organisations. The dogs in the street are witnessing just as much as all the politicians but they're just getting on with being dogs in the street. They don't worry, they just do their dog-thing.
Its lyrics beg of the ballad form but we do it with a Latin / Irish feel instead which is freer yet just as punchy in sentiment. Whenever we play it, it fills me with the feeling of living and loving my friends because for me, that's what life's ultimately about.
