Please read the following terms and conditions before sending us your photo or video.

Submission terms

By submitting any photographs or videos of yourself to Radio 1 you agree to grant to the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ, free of charge, permission to include the photo or video, if selected, on the

Copyright in your photos and videos will remain with you and this permission is not exclusive, so you can continue to use the images or videos in any way you want including allowing others to use them.

In order that the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ can use your photo or video, you confirm that it is your own original work, it is not defamatory and is not unlawful, it does not infringe any copyright, that you have the right to give the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ permission to use it for the purposes specified above, and that you have the consent of anyone who is identifiable in your photo or video (or their parent or guardian if they are under 16).

The ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ may need to contact you for administrative or verification purposes in relation to your photo or video. For full details of when and how we may contact you please see the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ's .

Please note that only people over the age of 16 can submit photos or videos to the Radio 1 Summer website.

If you do not want to grant the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ the permission set out above on these terms, please do not submit any photos or videos to the Radio 1 Summer website.

The details you send us in this form will not be used for anything other than the Request Show TV feature and will be held under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998.

Only photos, videos and comments submitted via email will be considered.

Acceptance Terms

Videos or photos will not be displayed if they
1. contain pornography and sexually explicit content
2. contain text and images likely to offend most people or that discriminate against any specific social group
3. contain gratuitous violence
4. contain swearing
5. contain, condone or encourage unlawful acts
6. breach copyright law or encourages others to do so (e.g. peer-to-peer music sites, illegal downloads of software and games etc)
7. have defamatory content or are in contempt of court.
8. endorse a commercial organisation.
9. are in breach of the submission terms above

Not all photos or videos submitted will be displayed. The Radio 1 Webteam will moderate and select photos or videos for publication based on relevancy to the topic, the quality of the image or video recording or suitability in accordance with the criteria above. Their decision is final.

Comments may be edited in order to protect identities or in order for them to meet the criteria above. If you would like us to remove any photos or videos you have submitted, please contact us at and we will endeavour to remove the photos or videos as soon as possible
