Why isn鈥檛 enough aid getting into Gaza?
And what are aid workers doing to help people?
Famine is imminent in northern Gaza, according to the United Nations. There is some aid going into Gaza, but it鈥檚 severely limited and aid workers face dangerous, sometimes deadly conditions.
Last week there was widespread international criticism after seven people from World Central Kitchen died in an Israeli airstrike. Israel has said the attack was due to 鈥済rave mistakes鈥. The UN says over 200 humanitarian workers have now been killed in Gaza.
The 成人快手鈥檚 Hugo Bachega, a Middle East correspondent, explains how much aid is entering Gaza and the challenges of getting aid in and distributing it.
We hear what kind of aid is being delivered, from Karyn Beattie, the team leader for Save the Children鈥檚 program in Gaza.
