He鈥檚 been hailed as one of the world's greatest cartoonists and the creator of war reportage comics. The artist Joe Sacco talks to Tina about the political power of the graphic novel and why he鈥檚 telling the story of the indigenous communities of the Canadian North West in his latest book, Paying the Land.
The Indian comic book and graphic novel writer Ram V explores the clash of cultures and what happens to a country when it is colonised, though the mythology of vampirism, in his series These Savage Shores.
Swedish comic book artist and activist Lisa Wool-Rim Sj枚blom shares the story of her adoption from South Korea in the graphic memoir Palimpsest. She speaks to the 成人快手鈥檚 Karl Bos about her childhood experiences of racism, her search for jer birth parents and why the ethics of adoption can be far more complicated than people think.
