Germany's first direct power link with Norway, called NordLink, has officially opened.

Germany's first direct power link with Norway, called NordLink, has officially opened. The cable under the North Sea will provide enough renewable hydroelectric power for 3.6m households. Sven Egenter is editor in chief of the news service Clean Energy Wire in Berlin, and tells us how the Nordlink cable will work. Also in the programme, following the deaths of more than 315,000 people from coronavirus, India could fast track the clearance of some foreign vaccines in a bid to speed up vaccination in the country.
