Nine dead after German shooting
A gunman opened fire on two shisha bars in the city of Hanau.
German officials say the attacks were carried out by a far-right extremist and many of the victims are thought to have been Kurdish. Also in the programme: Michael Bloomberg faced his first televised debate as he went head to head with other contenders for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination, and scientists have seen a remarkable collection of blue whales in the coastal waters around the sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia.
