The US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, says he's willing to travel to Tehran to speak directly to the Iranian people, despite the growing tensions between the two countries.

Over 100 people are feared to have drowned in a shipwreck off the coast of Libya. The tragedy occurred when a wooden boat carrying migrants sank near the town of al Khoms.
