DRC: first Ebola case detected in Goma

Authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the WHO have confirmed the country鈥檚 first Ebola case in the city of Goma, raising fears the deadly virus could spread in a densely populated area close to the Rwandan border.

Canada鈥檚 government is to compensate 718 people who were fired for being gay. We speak to the lawyer who won recognition and compensation through a class action lawsuit for the victims.
