May and Macron to mark D-Day anniversary
Hundreds of veterans have gathered in Normandy for the anniversary.
The French and British leaders will meet in northern France this morning for a second day of events marking seventy-five years since the D-Day landings in Normandy; the authorities in Sudan have denied that more than a hundred people have been killed in an attempt by the security forces to crush pro-democracy protests; and we go to Guyana in Latin America where you can wait years for a permit to build a home.
