Indonesian opposition refuses to concede

In Indonesia, the opposition leader is refusing to concede defeat following the country's election which took place just over a month ago. The electoral commission awarded victory in the presidential election to the incumbent President Joko Widodo.

There's been a range of negative responses to a speech by the British prime minister, Theresa May, in which she offered members of parliament what she called "one last chance" to deliver Brexit by approving her EU Withdrawal bill.

The United Nations says food aid is being diverted by some corrupt and uncooperative officials in Houthi-held areas of Yemen, where millions of people are believed to be on the verge of famine.
