Theresa May Quits as PM

Global business news, with live guests and contributions from Asia and the USA.

Theresa May is to step down as leader of the governing Conservative Party on June the 7th, after she found it impossible to win enough support among members of Parliament for her EU withdrawal deal. So, what happens now? Adam Bienknov is the political editor of Business Insider. Voting in India's month-long elections ended earlier this week and on Thursday the BJP鈥檚 Narendra Modi was, once again, victorious. The 成人快手鈥檚 Sameer Hashmi reports on the cost of election campaigns. Also we hear from the US senator trying to persuade American companies to reduce their reliance on China. And we'll ask whether companies should turn up the office thermostat to get more from their female workers. Plus we're joined throughout the programme by two guests on opposite sides of the world; in Washington DC, Alexis Goldstein, an activist and financial reform advocate and in Auckland, we have Colin Peacock, a presenter on Radio New Zealand.
