President Trump Visits US-Mexico Border in Support of Building a Wall

He wants Congress to approve funding for a border wall between the US and Mexico.

President Trump has been to southern Texas where he met with US border officials and reiterated his message that the US must extend the wall on its border with Mexico as protection against illegal immigrants and crime.

Meanwhile, Canada has announced plans to admit as many as one million immigrants into the country over the next three years.

And in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the candidate who came second in the country's presidential election has said he'll challenge the result in court.
