The disturbing rise in catapult attacks on London wildlife
Wildlife groups have raised concerns about a rise in disturbing catapult attacks on wildlife, leaving animals maimed, seriously injured, or killed.
The Greenwich Wildlife Network says incidents are now being reported multiple times a week. They want the law to be changed to regulate catapults, and police to take more action against offenders.

The Metropolitan Police said: 'We know that this sort of activity is really concerning for local residents, and we want to reassure them that we will take a hard stance against offenders. Local officers are actively responding to concerns regarding the behaviour and an investigation is underway to identify those involved. This involves using enforcement powers to target those responsible'.
