'Mountain of illegal goods' seized in town centre
West Mercia Police storm in to an Evesham shop, cracking down on money-laundering and the sale of illicit over-the-counter goods, including vapes and cigarettes.
Half a million pounds' worth of assets were seized, with six people arrested on immigration offences, in a series of anti-fraud raids across Herefordshire & Worcestershire known as 'Operation Henhouse'.

Across the force area, West Mercia Police confiscated illicit goods with a street value of 拢29,000, froze 18 bank accounts containing 拢487,000, and seized 拢8,000 in cash.
Nationally, more than 400 people were arrested in 'Operation Henhouse', with cash and assets worth 拢7.5 million being seized.
