American sport super agent Leigh Steinberg explains how a good performance at the NFL combine can affect players earning power.

The NFL Combine is an annual event held in Indianapolis each February ahead of the NFL Draft, where the best talent from college football showcase their skills to potential suitors.

The draftees undergo a series of tests, including being weighed and measured, the 40-yard dash, vertical leap, horizontal leap and a three cone lateral drill. Additionally, they also attend one-on-one meetings with general managers and coaches from the NFL franchises to ascertain their character and work ethic.

Steinberg’s track record of representing the top players is unrivalled and he was the man that the Tom Cruise Hollywood favourite Jerry Maguire was based on… You know... "Show me the money", and a successful combine experience could elevate a player up the draft and fast-track them to higher career earnings.
