'My boy only lived for two hours’
Trigger warning: This interview contains detail on child bereavement.
Kit McCartney was diagnosed with a non-survivable condition whilst still in the womb. His parents, from Worcester, are doing something incredible in his memory.
Andrea and Bill tell Felicity Kvesic how a 29-week scan created a heart-wrenching scenario that they are still recovering from, after ending up losing one of their twins hours after birth.
Eighteen months on, Andrea is running an ultra-marathon around all 106km of the Isle of Wight, raising funds for the Worcestershire Bereavement Suite, who supported the family through their grief.
