DIY expert Wayne Perrey's investigating how some websites might be listing unsafe ladders
Ladders are something that many people have lurking in the shed or garage for those DIY emergencies. Telescopic ladders, which extend and collapse, are a great option for people with limited storage space, but unfortunately unsafe versions of the product are being sold online, and it's putting customers at risk.
DIY expert Wayne Perrey's been investigating how third party sites like Amazon are listing ladders with potentially fake safety certificates, and hear from one man who ended up in hospital after his ladder broke whilst using it. Plus, he'll visit a testing centre to see just how dangerous it can be to buy online, and finds out why it's always best to visit your local handyman's store.
