'The police shot our son on Christmas Eve'
Marcus Meade was killed by officers following a five-hour stand-off. His parents have spoken for the first time of the devastation it's caused to their whole family.
Marcus had been seen holding a knife. The police watchdog is now investigating what happened, but Marcus' mother and father say they've been completely left in the dark and are desperately seeking answers.
At the time of publishing, in a statement West Mercia Police said the Independent Office for Police Conduct is carrying out an independent investigation and it would therefore not be appropriate for them to comment further while the investigation is on-going. However, they will do so when they are able.
