The brand new lions of Ross-on-Wye
11 endangered big cats have been saved by a Herefordshire wildlife charity, which would have otherwise been put down.
Wildside Exotic Rescue has come to the aid of eight mountain lions, two lynxes and a bobcat, responding to a special appeal to find them a loving home.
The rehoming marks the end of a traumatic period for the animals, after their previous owner was convicted of animal cruelty charges in Hertfordshire, resulting in a frantic search to find them permanent places to live.
Tom Edwards reports, feeding Ross-on-Wye's newest and hungriest four-legged residents, with the centre's Lindsay McKenna.
