Is Worcester's County Hall up for sale?
Worcestershire County Council is considering whether to put its County Hall headquarters in Worcester up for sale, after bosses decided not to move back in.
The building has been closed since last summer, after potentially dangerous RAAC concrete and legionella bacteria were detected.
The local authority now says it won't be returning, as repair costs are beyond what it budgeted.
The news comes as the council has had to go to the government to ask for more than 拢70m of financial support.
Rising costs in social care and education mean it's struggling to balance the books over the next two years, a black hole that could be partly plugged by selling off its HQ.
The Conservative leader of the County Council Simon Geraghty speaks to our political reporter James Pearson about the council's finances, and about the future of its headquarters.
