Masks reintroduced at Worcestershire hospitals
Emergency measures have been put in place to keep accident and emergency services running across hospitals in the county, with the whole of England under an amber health alert, meaning there is a risk of a rise in deaths.
The wearing of face coverings has been reintroduced, and patients in A&E have been limited to just one visitor as flu takes hold across Worcestershire's hospitals, including the Worcestershire Royal in Worcester and the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.
Dr Jules Walton is one of the Chief Medical Officers at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, and tells Elliott Webb why they are taking the measures.
