'I always hated the US HIV travel ban'
In 2009, President Barack Obama announced the end of 22 year travel and immigration ban which prevented people living with HIV from legally entering the US.
Dutchman Clemens Ruland was among the first, after he and his boyfriend Hugo won a poetry and art competition that rewarded them with a trip to New York from Amsterdam in January 2010.
He tells Megan Jones how it felt to be the first passenger to legally fly there.
