Motorists using Belgrave Road into Leicester have been stopped by a city taskforce, scrutinising cars to make sure they're safe and legal for winter driving conditions.

Police, Fire, the DVLA and city wardens were all on hand, making sure drivers were legally registered, that child seats were correctly installed and that number plates and windscreens were all legal.
