The rate at which primary school pupils are being suspended from state schools in England has risen dramatically. 成人快手 analysis suggests the number has more than doubled in a decade. Permanent exclusion rates of primary-age pupils have also gone up - by almost 70% in the same period.
Campaigners say children excluded from school at a young age experience long-term impacts.

Rose - not her real name - is in Year 7. She lives in London with her mum. Last year she was excluded twice from her primary school for challenging behaviour. After working with a mentor from children鈥檚 charity Chance UK, she鈥檚 made a successful start to her new secondary school.
