Fans of Paddington bear have been flocking to Ashby to have their picture taken with a statue of the iconic character which has appeared in a local park.

The figure has appeared on a bench in the Ashby Spa WI Garden as part of publicity for the new Paddington film. It's part of a trail of bears across the UK and Ireland and is to remain as a permanent fixture in the Leicestershire town.
