From stage four to cancer free in eight years

Hereford's Martyn Edwards runs a unique charity event which has raised tens of thousands of pounds in support of local cancer charities.

The Dress Up Driving Treasure Quest will see local businesses taking to the roads all over Shropshire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, starting from the legendary Shelsley Walsh in Worcestershire, driving a variety of vintage vehicles, before finishing in Powys.

In 2016, Martyn was diagnosed with bowel cancer, which spread to his liver, and was told it was inoperable.

But as he has been telling Elliott Webb, thanks to chemotherapy and treatment, Martyn is now cancer free.

Funds from the event will be donated to Hereford-based charity The Little Princess Trust, who provide real hair wigs for children undergoing cancer treatment.
