Animal sanctuary seeks £700k for permanent home

The Farm Animal Sanctuary in Evesham, home to 600 rescued farm animals, is launching a £700K fundraising campaign to secure a permanent site after 40 years of operation.

Currently renting 60 acres, they’ve been given the chance to buy the land but need public support to make it happen.

If successful, it will be their "biggest achievement" and allow them to expand visitor services and rescue more animals.

They have raised a quarter of the funds so far and are seeking donations via their Just Giving page and website.

Tom Edwards reports.
