NHS organ donation at 30: 'It gave me my life back'
Thirty years ago - the NHS organ donor register was created.
Graeme Appleby from Widdrington in Northumberland was one of the first to receive a transplant, thanks to the register.
He explains to Matt Bailey the impact receiving a kidney transplant 30 years ago had on his life.
