What happens when a robot has inner speech?
Caroline Steel meets a robot called Nao that can talk to itself. Scientist Arianna Pipitone programmed Nao to have a form of inner speech, helping it to solve problems and have better relations with humans. She describes it as a step towards artificial intelligence.
