Following a number of crashes at a crossroads in Cheadle, local pub landlord Connor Devine and Cheadle town councillor Gary Bentley give their thoughts on what they feel is an 'accident blackspot.'
Staffordshire County Council's Mark Deaville says:
鈥淢y thoughts go out to those involved in this latest collision. The incident is still being investigated by police, and once we have all the information we will look to see if any action is required at the location. We regularly monitor collision data reported on Staffordshire roads to identify accident clusters and trends, and I have requested officers to take an in-depth look at this crossroads. If there are any measures that we can take to improve this location then they will be implemented. The safety of road users and pedestrians is top of my list of priorities".
