The Bedford flats service charge battle
Residents of a block of flats in Bedford say they are 鈥渉eartbroken鈥 after more than a quarter of a million pounds in a shared maintenance fund allegedly vanished.
Leaseholders at The Heights are taking legal action against the building鈥檚 owner, Samsons Limited, in a dispute against their service charges and what they call a 鈥渟evere lack of service鈥.
Samsons Limited sole director, Mohammed Saleem, told a tribunal hearing he was "happy for the police to check into" the missing money.
He told the 成人快手: 鈥淚 really am sorry that the leaseholders are not satisfied that they are not getting the service but unfortunately they do not appreciate the issues and the problems that are being faced on a daily basis in this building.鈥
Phil Shepka has been speaking to some of the residents about their situation.
