Sold a lie?
Residents who purchased homes previously occupied by RAF Lakenheath service personnel say promises have not been kept.
At the time of buying their new homes on Lords Walk in Erriswell, which is between Lakenheath and Newmarket , residents were told of the children's play areas, vital amenities, and social greenspaces which would eventually be developed.
We did try to contact the current landowner to put these concerns to him but unfortunately, we did not get a response.
Suffolk County Council, however, has supplied us with the following statement.
They said: "Although we maintain most roads and footpaths, Lords Walk is only partly managed by Suffolk County Council.
"The locations are all subject to routine inspections and any defects that meet the criteria will be ordered for repair. We encourage residents to report any issues to Suffolk Highways."
