Tayla Relph and the new era for women in motorcycling
Australian motorcycle racer Tayla Relph’s interest in motorsport made her a target of bullying at school and she began being homeschooled and travelling around Australia in a van with her family whilst following the motorcycle racing calendar.
Now Relph is lining up alongside 25 other women from 18 countries in the first all-female motorcycle circuit-racing series at world championship level.
Relph speaks to Sportshour’s Caroline Barker ahead of the first race of the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship which includes races in Italy, the UK, Portugal and Spain.
