60 years since the 1st Viva at Ellesmere Port
It's 60 years since the first car rolled off the production line at the Vauxhall plant in Ellesmere Port, and it was a Vauxhall Viva.
Almost 6 million cars have been built at the Vauxhall plant since then, including, most famously, the Astra.
Former employee, Keith Taverner, was there when that first car was made and still has three sons working there.
