The team behind Godiva Awakes are back with another exciting project. You might remember the 10 metre high puppet of Lady Godiva who travelled from Coventry to London powered by 50 cyclists as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

This time the Coventry arts organisation Imagineer are asking the residents of Nuneaton and Bedworth to get involved in an art project involving UK sourced bamboo.

Imagine Bamboo will work with artists and the people of Nuneaton and Bedworth, to create150 bamboo propellers which when played together will form a bamboo orchestra. Vic Minett spoke to Lachlan Brown, a Sydney based artist from the Cave Urban arts collective and creative director of Imagine Bamboo Orit Azaz.
