A different sort of horsepower at Aintree
The Ford Galaxie has returned to the Aintree Grand Prix circuit for the first time in 60 years, since winning the final race there on 16 May 1964.
The 3-mile Aintree circuit is the only custom-built Grand Prix track in Britain and remains intact in its entirety.
It was the scene of many famous events including 5 British Grands Prix, the first being in 1955 when Stirling Moss achieved his first GP win in the British Grand Prix, watched by over 150 thousand spectators.
