The cost of living crisis, combined with low pay and morale, is pushing nearly a third of Metropolitan Police officers towards resigning from the force.

According to the Metropolitan Police Federation, more than 80% of the 6000 officers surveyed said they were dissatisfied with their pay and felt "worse off" than they were five years ago,

The Met say they recognised professions such as policing with "low starting salaries" made them an "unrealistic prospect for many".

The 成人快手 Office say officers of all ranks were awarded a "consolidated pay increase of 7%" and that the "retention of police officers is a priority for the government".
