Smashed plaque to be replaced
Mindless vandalism is how the family of a coventry police officer killed in the line of duty have described the smashing of a memorial plaque dedicated in his honour.

A memorial plaque was dedicated to him on Far Gosford Street, near to the place he was killed but over the weekend it was found smashed to pieces.
