Final consultation on Essex pylon plan
The third and final consultation on a stretch of electricity pylons through Essex has begun.
The route that runs for more than 100 miles between Tilbury and Norwich will be predominantly made up of overhead power lines, but there will be some underground cabling in the Dedham Vale area.
However, there has been strong opposition to plans by local residents who fear the impact they will have on the countryside.
Liam Walker from National Grid told the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ’s Andrew Sinclair they have listened to those concerns.
