'I saw Mount Vesuvius erupt in 1944'
Mount Vesuvius famously destroyed Pompeii in AD79, but the volcano last erupted 80 years ago in 1944, during World War Two. Angelina Formisano remembers seeing it happen as a child.
Twenty-six people died, mostly due to the falling rock and ash, and thousands were forced to leave their homes.
